Social Connections

Just ran across this… a nice infographic highlighting the different ways by which we connect and engage socially today – and their different levels of intimacy.

I’d have to argue though, that email should come before text messaging and IM; though not as immediate, email requires a little more thought, time, detail… it’s the digital version of letter writing.

Interesting to consider how many of these were around 10 years ago…
