Inspiration found while Junkin’

I love checking our friend Gil Shuler’s SHED Blog as well as Aaron Draplin’s Draplin Design Co. Blog on a daily basis just to see what cool stuff they always seem to come across.

Aaron found this cool Stihl chain saw oil can that caught my eye. The dude holding the chainsaw drawn with basic shapes simply kicks ass. You just don’t see cans like this on the shelves anymore.

I gotta start poking around in antique stores and yard sales just to see what I can come across. That being said, if you guys haven’t caught American Pickers yet on the History Channel, you gotta watch it. It follows around these two guys (Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz) knocking on strangers doors buying up cool old junk they may have sitting around. They always come across awesome cans, old porcelain signs, and sometimes really rare vehicles and motorcycles. New episodes are Mondays at 9/8c. Check it out!
