“Good Things Never Change”

Well, only in the dreamy fantasy world of this Farrell’s Ice Cream dramatization. If you grew up in the 70’s you hopefully celebrated a few milestones in a Farrell’s (mine in the lower level of The Galleria in Houston). Home of The Pig’s Trough and The Zoo, where extravagantly-mustached extroverts paraded vat-sized ice cream sundaes to sugar-buzzed kids. Sadly, Farrell’s experienced tough times and tragedy and eventually dwindled down to just the two remaining locations today. I’ll have a softball-sized jawbreaker in their honor.
