Collecta Real Time Search

A while back Nathan and Christopher were talking up a new project they’d been working on that they seemed pretty excited about. Fast forward a few months and there’s Collecta – billing itself as a “real time search engine that constantly monitors the streams of news sites, blogs, and social media to deliver results as they happen”.

We’re working on developing a social media aggregate page for our friends at Folbot, and a Collecta search is slated to feature prominently. Interested parties can access the API and start doing all sorts of cool things.

Personally, I’ve been enjoying this search after the antics at the VMA’s last night.
