With unmatched natural assets and a community intimately engaged in the outdoors, Western North Carolina is the outdoor industry hub of the East. In 2020 we embarked on a collaboration with the Growing Outdoors Partnership to develop a regional brand that celebrates and grows the outdoor industry across 24 counties. The campaign is designed to engage the local community and motivate new companies and individuals to inquire about joining the community and movement. The “Made By Mountains” brand name, story, design and overall concept was crafted with the input of over 40 regional leaders and captures the intimate relationship locals have with this unique outdoor landscape. The campaign launched in May 2021 and is currently rolling out across the region and beyond.
