Lately we’ve been overrun by the Charleston Fire Department. Cigar Factory owners, and our landlords – The Simpson Organization, have decreed that since demolition needs to happen to the main building anyway (they’re building luxury condos), why not let the firemen have a go with their axes and get a bit of training in as well?
Fret not, dear readers… this doesn’t affect operations here at BIHQ. We’ve long since moved to a new location in an outbuilding on the ground-level. Our former haunts on the 4th floor apparently make the ideal location for disaster-based training. See below.
