Gibbes People’s Choice Exhibit
This past February we helped the Gibbes Museum launch a fun new exhibit called People’s Choice. As they planned for the last exhibition of their permanent collection before a museum renovation, they came up with the idea to engage the public and give everyone an opportunity to select, comment on, and share their favorite works of art. The works that collect the most public votes are the works that will get displayed during the exhibition. Working with their team, and the talented crew at Stitch Design Co. (who created the identity for the exhibit), we developed a site and content plan that reached out to a group of locals from diverse backgrounds in the Charleston community – from Mayor Joseph P. Riley and Nathalie Dupree to Brian Rutenberg and Tara Guérard. Take a look, make your votes, and keep an eye out for the opening bash.
