BA’s Social Network
Here’s British Airways’ latest social media venture: MetroTwin.com – a social networking site that builds on all things London and New York (BA is strongly associated with the London / NY route). The idea is to bring the best of London food, drink, culture, etc, to New Yorkers and vice versa. They’ve created an online community of experts and locals who rate, review and share the best of both cities. The goal is to ultimately give everything a twin, so if you like a restaurant in London, then you’ll enjoy a similar restaurant in NY… Interesting, and at only two cities now, they have plenty of room to grow.
