ArtFields – Unleashing An Arts Movement To Revitalize A Community
ArtFields started with a simple idea – create an arts and culture event to raise money to improve the Main Street of Lake City, South Carolina. Armed with the largest cash prize for artwork of Southern Artists, this nine-day event has grown in size each and every year and increased its economic impact on the small town where it started. What was once one of South Carolina’s most prosperous agricultural communities has transformed into a living art gallery that recognizes, celebrates, and shares Southeastern creative talent.
Our work with ArtFields began in 2012 preparing for its launch. We’ve built two editions of the core ArtFields website, a voting platform that allows people to participate and award the top prizes, and most recently a custom entry platform called ArtBooth that makes the submission process easier and faster for artists and ArtFields. Along the way we’ve evolved the brand identity, story and palette to provide range and flexibility, and served as the creative lead for digital advertising and event signage. In late summer 2018, our partnership expanded further to include ongoing media relations, marketing, and promotional support of both ArtFields and Lake City’s growing arts community – including two galleries, year round programming, public art, children’s art education, and more.
