The Bloc LA

Built in 1973 by architect Charles Luckman, the Broadway Plaza, as it was known then, included the Broadway Department Store, offices, and a Hyatt Regency Hotel. It remains the single largest mixed-use property in Los Angeles. In 2013, new owners rebranded the property as The Bloc, and began a $180 million renovation project. This one-of-kind property, literally a full city block in downtown Los Angeles, and its new brand are all about immersing you in energy, vibrancy, color, movement, and activity. Together with their marketing team, we channeled their new premise and purpose into a digital plan, developed the base web platform, and launched digital marketing programs to engage and inspire the local community, visitors, prospective tenants, and seekers from all walks of life.
