One of the most common injuries from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is TBI, or Traumatic Brain Injury. And one of the great things about technology is the fact that people are now living through injuries that in the past would be fatal.

Force Protection, Ladson-based manufacturer of blast-resistant vehicles, has stepped up to the plate and funded the Center for Brain Research at MUSC to find ways to prevent the TBI that can occur from surviving IED blasts. Part of this campaign is the ThinkTBI.com website, which in conjunction with orange heads placed strategically around town should help bring awareness to the cause.
