The GOODBusiness Summit – 8/27

Lowcountry Local First is gearing up for another edition of The GOODBusiness Summit on Thursday, August 27 and we’re excited to be part of the fun. Each year they assemble a great mix of speakers, panelists, volunteers, attendees and sponsors to explore themes around the intersection of business success and positive community impact. It’s all about better practices…B Corps, localism, sustainability, community outreach, and more.

I’m looking forward to moderating a keynote discussion on Thursday at 4:00 pm with Christine Perich, CEO of New Belgium Brewing Company, and Andy Shallal, Owner of Busboys and Poets and several other community-inspired food/drink/culture establishments.  Each will share a short (10-minute) presentation and then we’ll shift to discussion and audience q&a. I expect you’ll hear some inspiring themes and practices from Christine and Andy, which should make for a perfect end to a great day.

Blue Ion is also proud to be hosting the speakers and sponsors party the night before….but that’s an invite only party for that specific crowd.
