In the middle of a “research” trip over in central Italy…learning about social (media) habits and the perils of international iPhone roaming.

One of the highlights of traveling around here is driving the tight, 2-lane country roads. Our choice of vehicle is the tried and true Fiat Panda…the cheapest and almost smallest car you can rent. Sure, it looks a bit like a clown car but you combine almost 60 miles per gallon efficiencey with jaw dropping performance of 0-60mph of 15.8 seconds and a top speed of 90mph. Not exactly Ferrari numbers, but on these roads it’s a go-cart thrill ride.
