Obey The GIANT

A hearty thank you and congrats to the team at GIANT for pulling off such a great conf last week/weekend. All the attendees I talked to gave it major props, and most were amazed that a first year conference could produce such a strong event. Way to go Anthony, Joel and Christian!

We were happy to host the GIANT speakers party at Blue Ion HQ on Friday night. I’m terrible at estimating crowd size, but I’ll guess between 150-200 people hung out and partied, played pool and ping pong, ate burritos, and most importantly…drank GIANT beer!

Palmetto Brewing and Blue Ion collaborated on another limited run beer for the show. This time we hatched Breakthrough Blonde, a tasty blonde ale inspired by creative blocks. Picking up on some design work we’ve been doing for the next GIANT conference (to be held in Denver), the label features invading robots with laser beams shooting from their eyes. But of course!
