Numeric Domain Movement

Interesting article in today’s WSJ on the growing trend of numeric domains…

It notes that of the 100 most expensive domains sold this year, 11 of them were numeric (compared with no more than one in each of the past three years)… and in an auction of dozens of numeric domain names earlier this week, 88.com sold for $325,000.
