New Web Fonts

Google released 18 free fonts yesterday that developers can embed within their sites so we can all move beyond the typical web-safe font set that it’s assumed are installed on everyone’s computers. While looking at some samples of the new fonts, one struck me as somewhat familiar….

Reenie Beanie looks oddly similar to Baad Campbell, a font designed in-house by our very own Josh Campbell. And before you ask, yes – we’ve actually used it on a couple client sites. We’re expecting a call from the Google at any time to ask to license our font for inclusion.
