Live at Edgewater

Launched a site today for Edgewater, a community being developed near Pittsburgh in Oakmont, PA. This is a unique development as it’s an urban-infill project. Where once a steel mill nestled in a 100 year old community cranked out locomotive wheels, that space has been reclaimed and is being put back to work for the people to enjoy the land once more. Access to the river has returned, and the very homes that once were literally in the shadow of foundries will now be reconnected to new residential streets and parks.

There was also a logo developed as part of the process – we ended up using an iconic element of the Oakmont skyline as well as aspects of the river, rebirth, and even found a way to get a nod in to the railroad industry roots.
