Folbot Workbench

Snapped a quick picture yesterday at Folbot. The Mad Monkey team made the trek down from Columbia to help us explore new opportunities for the awesomeness that is folding kayaks. The big plan is to reach out to urban markets that may have entirely written off owning a kayak as too much of a hassle (what with storage, transportation, mockery as you carry a large boat in the subway, etc). More to come on that soon.

It’s still really cool to me to see something that looks as sleek and modern as a Folbot is hand-built in a factory that’s a couple steps removed from your grandpa’s garage.
