The Ecusta Trail is a 19-mile multi-use greenway in our backyard in Western North Carolina that will connect Hendersonville and Brevard. The former rail line that carried people and materials has a rich history that reaches back nearly a century. Its transformation into a pedestrian and bike trail has been a collaborative effort of community volunteers, nonprofit partners, and local and state governments who shared a vision of a corridor that would connect the entire region.
To support the opening of the first section in 2025 we worked with the Friends of Ecusta Trail organization to write an underlying brand story and then develop a new website to share progress, route information, support services, its storied history and more. A new interactive trail map with key markers and waypoints will be added soon to support people using the first sections of the trail.

We had a blast working with the Friends of Ecusta trail team to develop and launch the website. Stay tuned for opening day events and activities as we hope to see you out there.
