Civic Action Exhibit Tonight

Looking forward to attending tonight’s opening of Civic Action…the Civic Design Center’s new exhibit on community-led groups working to improve/change Charleston. Pecha Kucha Charleston will be one of the featured organizations, along with Pour It Now, Charleston Moves, Charleston Arts Coalition, Architecture for Humanity, Fields to Families, Charleston Miracle League, Charleston Horticultural Society, Holy City Bike Co-op, Louie’s Kids and Lowcountry Earth Force.

Each organization was asked to create a display board….to articulate a thought on how best to improve the community and then the action they are driving to make a difference. Below is the board for Pecha Kucha Charleston…..created by Dale Lanford, Jeff Taylor and Jenny Badman. It’s a mosaic that features images, presentation graphics, artwork, etc. from the first three Pecha Kucha Night events in Charleston. Many thanks to them for creating something so crazy and perfect.
