Charleston Creative Makes An Impact

Now these are some good looking numbers. A new Creative Economy study for Charleston, SC is out, and once again it shows the huge economic impact the creative industries have in our region (2012 numbers). Some of the more impressive facts include…..26,465 creative workers, representing the 4th largest employment cluster, paying 21% higher than average hourly wages, and adding more than $3,200,000,000 to the region’s total economy. That’s “Big Creative” for you.
