When we were connected with the crews at Groundswell and Bubba to help bring their vision of a print magazine to life, we couldn’t wait to dive in. Bubba was evolving into much more than a tools and gear brand – along the way they had developed a passionate following around the surf-to-table lifestyle and ideal.

As an authentic and growing brand that encouraged anglers to live on the edge of adventure and go where the water takes you, the idea of BOUNDLESS emerged as a central rallying concept. We started by envisioning the look and feel of BOUNDLESS magazine and developing guiding designs for the new magazine, from the cover, key editorial layouts, and infographics down to the table of contents and paper stock.

With the design dialed in, we got to work on production. Our producers, writers and designers orchestrated the magazine in-house, from writing product copy and editorials to designing the feature stories. We tapped a talented team of travel and outdoor writers to help author the feature articles, surf-to-table recipes and more.

The end result was a 52-page, high adventure, print magazine that brought the Bubba brand and community to life through great storytelling and inspiring design.
