Austin City Limits 2016

Over a month later, and I still can’t believe how much fun I had during my Austin City Limits trip I took back in October!!!
And for the ones who aren’t familiar with Austin City Limits (or ACL for short), ACL is a annual music festival held in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas on two consecutive three-day weekends. This music festival is seriously bigger each year and music ranges from hip-hop to folk- tt really is all over the place.

This year brought in over 130bands over the course of two music-filled weekends. I only participated in the weekend 2 line-up. Which was still packed out with amazing bands!! Some of the bands I made a point to see included: Radiohead, Cage the Elephant, Young the Giant, Kendrick Lamar, Cold War Kids, Flume, LL Cool J and Mumford & Sons.
This was the first music festival I’ve been able to attend and hopefully not the last. It was definitely a BLAST!! Not only was this my first music festival but also my first time flying into Texas. I flew into Dallas, TX the Thursday before the festival.  Met up with some friends at the airport then piled into a car for a 3hr car ride to Austin. Where the next 5 days were slammed with great music, drinks, sunburn and good friends. Oh, and did I mentioned how Tito’s vodka totally hooked-up my crew and I? So I have to give a huge shout-out to Tito’s Vodka for all the love that was shown towards us. The entire trip shifted to a whole other level once we were introduced to the Tito’s VIP tent. So Thank you Tito’s Vodka!!!! And I actually got to meet Tito!! 🙂
Here are some pictures I snapped along the trip and during the festival.
