The Good Business Summit – Sep 15th

Labor Day has come and gone and that means it’s time to gear up for one of the more inspired business gatherings of the year…The Good Business Summit. Produced each year by our friends at Lowcountry Local First, this one-day conference is an exploration and celebration of business as a force for good.

Last year’s on-stage conversation with Jeni Britton Bauer from Jeni’s Ice Creams about their business model, practices, challenges and success was a highlight, and this go around I’m excited to see/hear Matt Stinchcomb from Good Work Institute / Etsy share his view. I’m also honored to play master of ceremonies (MC, emcee, move the crowd, ringmaster…whatever works) this year and will do my best to shepherd the day’s events, thank sponsors, direct people to the restrooms, and pull long talkers from the stage.
