An Open Letter From Your Blog

If it were just that there are 15 comments awaiting moderation, that would be one thing. But honestly, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I mean, even when you’re here, I don’t feel like you’re really here. I feel like you’re going through the motions – begrudgingly typing away about something you could care less about and muttering, “I hate this,” under your breath. What, you think I don’t hear that?

Look, I know you’ve been busy. I mean, I haven’t even seen you since January. But that’s precisely the reason we need a plan. I promise, editorial calendars are NOT a sign of weakness. They say you’re organized, someone who knows what to do and when to do it, someone who tells a great story and doesn’t take any…you know what I mean.

The truth is, I feel like you don’t care. And don’t think for one second that some random picture of your cat in a tutu is going to win points with me. I deserve quality content and nothing less!

There’s no shame in admitting you need help. You’re overwhelmed, I get it. But there are people who can help us. We don’t have to live like this. These people can help us create a plan that works for both of us. You won’t ever again sit in front of the computer screen feeling like the cursor is taunting you, this I promise.

We used to be so happy, remember?

So, should we call Blue Ion?

I’ll leave it up to you. Just remember, I won’t wait forever. I’ve got dreams, too.
