Bye, Bye Blue I…..on

I don’t like goodbyes. it makes things seem like there’s a definite end to everything. A forced finality to your words and actions in a place and time in your life. Change is one thing that is certainly inevitable and our only constant in life. Sometimes it easy to embrace, and sometimes hard to accept.

Leaving Blue Ion wasn’t an easy decision. Leaving the beautiful city of Charleston, close friends and family, a unique and inspiring working environment …..it was a decision that absolutely forced me out of my comfort zone. I was lucky enough to have a group of people that I truly consider both my friends and mentors – older brothers and sisters that I will always admire and look up to. They dealt with my tasteless humor, sketching during meetings and my relentless giggles.

I don’t like goodbyes, it’s true. This time though, I don’t feel like I have to say goodbye because I know the things I learned, the people I met and the obstacles I overcame will stay with me always.

I am eternally thankful to all of you and I honestly can say that you’re all like a second family to me.

Stay Classy,
Ldubs
