Pay-per-action from Google

Not to be confused with how MH gets the ladies these days, pay-per-action is actually Google’s latest incarnation of their pay-per-click program.

How it works
Instead of paying per click, you only pay if a user completes an “action” on your site, which is defined by you. This could be a form completion, visit to a specific page, or purchase of a product in your ecommerce store.

Combating Click Fraud
Advertisers will love this new option, since you’re only paying when a goal is completed. Click fraud has always cast a shadow over the pay-per-click method; with the new method it isn’t a concern.
